A brief update on the all wheel drive's diet. Off comes the power steering, off comes the AC. Out went the interior. Sound deadening almost gone. 30 pounds of it scraped out of the interior so far. Out went the spoiler and body cladding. Bye-bye to the rear wiper, antenna and washer resevoir with pump. Center console is gone, back seats will never return as the mounting brackets have been drilled out.

Dash is gone for now but I have a feeling it'll make a reappearance soon. All that sheet metal and bare innards is looking like the fat is starting to melt off and expose the bare bones of the beast beneath. Excess sheet metal is being cut as we speak. Rear bumper tossed. Front Bumper is next. I've got a mound of stuff waiting in my living room waiting to be weighed.

Looking to make 2500 lbs with driver. Anyone think it's doable or am I just dreaming?

Oh, and I wasn't planning on putting the roll cage in unless I'm essentially forced into it. Why do you ask?

I think Kris asked that because cutting some of the metal and the bumpers kind of decreases the effectiveness of the safe parts installed on the vehicle. Congrats on the diet tho, what dress size are you down to now? cool.gif
