Crate motor? You better be talking about a small block chevy. It's cheaper to rebuild it with forged pieces than buy a new shortblock from Mitsubishi.
In my personal opinion, some Eagle H-Beams, Wiseco pistons, ARP main studs, Clevite 77 bearings, and a knife-edged and balanced stock crank would be a good start.
