You should have gone a long with it, talked the guy down in price, then pull out your checkbook, start to make out a check with his name on it for $1000 more than what you agreed upon......then right before sigining it say "on second thought, I just don't think I like how the car looks in this light" then tear the check up, let it fall on the ground in front of him, get in your car and casually wave as you drive away..........or just kick his a$$
