need to get out some bad gas,the gas gauge is on E, so what I was thinkning was putting in about 3-4 gollons on 110 race gas,some ne plugs and new wires and let it run for a while. would that work?

It should be on the rear portion on the driver's side of the tank. It may have underbody coating on it disguising it somewhat, but you shouldn't have any trouble finding it.
