got my car running decent and was out driving around tonight and ran into an escort gt and a fox body mustang, didnt really get much of a run on the escort but got a couple 30 mph launches and got him by about 2 or 3 cars at 80 then had to hit 474. was headed down 150 towards E.peoria when a fox body 5.0 with bright blue lights tried to fly around me so i floored it turned off into e.p. we lined up and ran at about 40 mph he got me by about 2 cars at 100 then hit a light. i got a terrible launch (still suck launching but im working on it) and he got a good car out of 1st then i missed 2nd dry.gif got back on it but it was all over!! only problem was that once i hit 4k it fells like that was all the power the car was going to allow. from 4k to 7k all it did was get loud and stayed pretty much the same powerwise. WTF!! any ideas why?? only thing i can think of is maybe the camshafts. they are out of an auto so there would be less top end but its out of a 91 so they should all be the same auto and manual. i think 92 is when the auto manual camshafts were produced with more low end for the auto.??? any one have any idea? im only hitting about 10psi, dont know why though, i dont have any boost leaks.

10 psi is what the waste gate actuator spring is rated at. I saw your car at Slopny's yesterday, and noticed that you are still running the bcs. From what I understand of reading TMO's website, if your car has seen knock in the recent past or is currently seeing knock it will open the bcs so the boost signal goes straight to the WG actuator so you will run less boost. Otherwise it will stay closed and allow boost levels of up to 12 psi. If you want to run higher boost pressures you need a mbc.
