Fluid Capacities Options

what are the fluid capacities of the Transmsion and T-case for a 1G GSX.... I know I will be using GM syncromesh for the Trans... what does everyone seem to be using for the T-case???

Differential Procedure

Park car on level ground
Climb under car (don't jack up) to be able to get at the differential and find the fill plug (24mm) and the drain plug (24mm), see picture
Place the pan under the drain plug and then remove the plug. Remove the fill plug.
When done draining replace the drain plug
Using a similar setup as to the Transaxle refill (see picture), fill the transfer case with the GL5 gear oil. We found that snaking the tube down through the passenger rear tire wheel well to the differential allows an easy path to filling the differential.
Remove the fill tube and let whatever excess drain out of the transfer case fill plug.
When it quits, replace the fill plug

they are saying to fill the t-case with GL5 fluid, when they are talking about the rear diff??? WTF???

also in the previous paragraph, they said to fill the t-case with GL4 fluid for the T-case service
