Darryl, Nate, Marcus, and anybody else with a high HP drag DSM: this is a thread for you.
I'm wanting to know about when to expect the stock transfer case to start exploding. Now that I'm brewing a pot of means for the higher HP numbers, I'm thinking the transfer case will be the one weak link in my setup. For right now, it's just a 14B car but by the end of the summer, it will have a 400hp capable turbocharger on it. More than likely, it won't really make 400hp on the stock motor, Supra SMIC, ACT 2600, street tires, and a 2-step, but I'm hoping for something over the 300 mark at least. I've thought about cryotreating it or something of the like. Opinions, concerns, and questions welcome. Thanks. -------------------- "I hear he tunes the space shuttle also...and that thing is fast"

as far as the t-case... when it breaks, upgrade.
 as far as your 2-step... You'll have to play with it to find the perfect spot where you're not blowing off the tires, but not bogging out of the hole.... latter will probably be more of the problem. With the right tires, you should be able to launch at the rev limiter.
