I have a 1999 mitsubishi eclipse rs and i have been looking into a JDM motor swap. I was looking into the 4g63 cyclone but im told that it wouldnt mount up right and it would be very hard to do. What would be a good turbo motor i could swap with?

QUOTE (94laser @ Jun 9 2003, 11:17 AM) I was looking at pics of 99 eclipses and I could swear the motor was on opposite sides of the engine bay. I thought I was loosing my mind ![]() How hard would a 99 GSX motor swap to a 1G 6 bolt? Any big benifits? You were probably looking at '99 RS or GS models which are powered by Chrysler's 420A. 6-bolt swap into a 2G GSX is fairly easy. It has been done by many people. There are good instructions on www.magnusmotorsports.com . Super16G has done this swap. |
