Got a quick question for y'all.

I need to rework my upper IC pipe after an engine swap. The shortblock was used but just to be gentle I wanted to give it a few miles naturally aspirated. I disconnected my internal WG to avoid building boost and threw in a straight pipe for the UICP (no BOV).

Here is the question... I am running at about 8 lbs of vacuum and slowly build to around 1.5 lbs of vacuum by 3200RPMs (the highest i have ran it so far). Am I getting boost creep? Shouldn't the vacuum hold? Most importantly, am I in danger of some compressor surge since I running no BOV?

I wanted to drive the car a little while I rework the UICP but I am thinking that I should hold off. Thoughts?
