hey all... I have found some door speakers for the GSX... they seem to match the rest of the Blue and stainless scheme that I have been really shooting for here... I have them physically in the car and electrically hooked up... but the problem is that the install looks like shit... who has done this kind of work and what can we do about it.

When I had 6.5" components in the door on aNAlUBé, I cut the door card and mounted the speaker to it. I like goat's idea about reinforcing it, though I never had a problem. The expanding foam would be excellent too, particularly from an acoustic perspective.
You could always just opt for the TK-421 modification. That's done in-house for a very small fee. It makes the bass pump and kick. Turns your stomach and makes you want to freaky deaky. -------------------- my cars breath smells like car food
