Anybody replaced one of these, or got one laying around? Repair shop says 4-6 hour job to remove the dash.
Would the A/C leak stop stuff they sell fix and evaporator leak or is it mainly for seal leakage? I guess the car would be lighter (faster!) with all that crap removed...but Jesus it get hot in a black car! And until I get the wife a new DD, I'm stuck sweating out the summer. -------------------- 92 Eagle Talon TSI AWD "The Black Golfball" How fast can a 14B go???

Darn, I've thrown away more than a few of these before and they were in mint condition.
4-6 hours is actually a fair price for the labor involved. I'd still DIY, but you're not getting raped too hard, probably only a gauge 4 rod on this occasion. -------------------- my cars breath smells like car food
