OK. Heres the deal. I picked up Neils 91 TSI AWD last nite. Well I love the car. Its got a few things to work out, but I got it for a great deal and its a pretty quick car. Anyways, on cold starts it idles at about 2K RPM's. Does anybody know what this would be caused by? ITs really annoying and the car is loud enough as it is. The last thing I need is to wake the whole neighborhood up at 6:30 in the morning when I go to work because of a high idling car. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

QUOTE (POS AWD @ Jun 22 2003, 12:53 PM) Is the MAS modified on that at all? That would explain some of that high idle I think. Let me know if you find a fix for it. If you want a new gauge cluster with a working fuel gauge, let me know. I've got at least two. Rob As far as I know the only mod to the MAS is that he removed the lower honeycombs. Well, im pretty sure that the gas gauge doesnt work because of the float in the tank. It works till it gets down to anywhere between 1\4 and 1\2 empty, so im assuming there is something wrong with the float arm. I might take one of them from you though, just in case. Do you have a working fog light switch? I know that is a common problem on 1st gens. -------------------- 2003 Mustang GT
