O.K. so here it is. He says he is going to meet us at a Mobil gas station off of the interstate at around 12:30. I called the sheriffs department and setup a "sting" if you will. My friend Chris is to meet him at the gas station and give him 700 cash for the turbo. At about 11:30 Chris and I grab our girlfriends and go to the closed gas station to scope out the area. Chris is to wait in the empty lot for him while I park behind the McDonald's down the street. The cops hid in a back area of a nearby golf course waiting for a call from Chris after he identifies the turbo. My girl friend sat in the truck and watched for him coming down the road and I laid in a swampy tall grass area about 500 yards away from the meeting spot. The guy called; he was almost there. Chris gave him directions, my girlfriend saw him coming down the road, I started filming him driving in. He got out of his car and talked for about 5 min with Chris and showed him the turbo. Chris made the call and the cops pulled right in and surrounded him and his car. The guy didn't run at all, just said "oh shit." Chris broke out laughing. As the cop was questioning him about where he got it, he claimed it was his. Then I walked up behind him and reminded the familiar face that it was my turbo and he had taken it out of my shed!!! The look on his face when he saw me was priceless! He then admitted to taking it from my shed. He is getting charged with a felony. Don't know the exact charges yet but soon enough I will have my turbo back! Oh and I got about 90% of it on video too. Whether it is good quality I will have to take a look and make a small vid out of it!
