New Fastest 14b in the country!!!, Holy crap... Options

Leon Reitman of Reitman Racing & Buschur Racing blew the previous best 14b 1/4 ET of 12.04 completely out of the water with a 11.842 @ 113.43 in the 1/4. His vehicle is a 94 Talon TSi 14b without nitrous, but I'm going to have to check and see what all he has done to go so deep into the 11's with the stock turbo!

BTW - That's .08 seconds faster than the fastest 16g time listed...Wow!

Heh heh...I just seen your other post with 40psi and 175 shot Kris...

I think it's obvious that with these little turbo's (and engines) we're just playing around. Why because it's easy to make power and they are fun to drive with the superior, all around tramac grip of AWD! Or the 'Drama' of FWD tire scorching.

I mean if someone gave me a sponsership and threw down the gauntlet for a professional and fast car...don't kid yourself. I wouldn't be messing around with these stock parts and minor bolt on's. The sad fact is, that extreme level and kind of racing takes the fun out of it for me personally. Sure, if I could live on a job like that I'd be there in a heart beat, but I have more fun toying around with my daily driver and shocking other gear heads every other day. Especially the ones that can't tell a subtle, soft shifting four banger from their a$$ on a plate.

I'm in it for the fun and you can only take a 14b so far before you need more room to grow. The 16g just doesn't allow enough growing room for the dollar. I want to tune into a turbo's potential, not just use it as another mod/step. Let me put it this way...I'd rather spend a lot of time going through and enjoying all the levels of a story style video game than to simply get the 'cheats' to say that I won. But hey, that's just me.
