The Central Illinois Region SCCA is holding a SoloII Auto cross event this Saturday and Sunday at Rantoul, IL. For more information check out: CIR-SCCA Schedule
My dad and I will be driving our cars down there to run the corse. We will be leaving the East Peoria area around 8am Saturday morning. Registration is from 9am to 10:45am Tech inspection untill 11am Walk through at 11:30am Racing starts at Noon $30 per racer for all non SCCA members Anyone else want to join in? I was at rantoul this last weekend... I was under the understanding that CCSCC held that event... I was a spectator on Saturday, but drove on Sunday. BTW... I took 1st in the D-Stock N / C-Stock N bump class on sunday!!!!! I was in D-Stock SRT 4 and had a raw time of 55.2xx... index placed me much faster... second in that bump class was my friend John in a C-Stock Miata with a raw time of 56.4xx... index didn't help him at all. I guess that the index that I was given was kinda like adding insult to injury seeing as I beat him in raw time and also had a higher index I will edit with exact times when I get the official times sheet. Great event by all involved.... I had a wonderful time!!!!! -------------------- You CAN sleep in your car, but your CAN NOT race your house!!!
