Well I decided to try the Turbo Xs BOV since all the car could pull with the stock BOV was 13 psi where it normally would be 14.5. I hadn't adjusted the boost controller.

Anybody have any hints for setting up a Turbo XS BOV?

How do you know how many washers do you add? The spring I have is cut, so I'm not really sure if I doing this right. I have no instructions or any other parts of the kit.

With the cut spring, the valve flew open under a boost test. So I added about 4 washers. It still leaked a little air so I added about 4 more. Still had a slight leak but I didn't want to put too much pressure on it.

Took it out for a ride and now it boosts to 15 psi and climbs to 16. Much better.

At low decceleration, snapping the throttle closed sounds kind of wierd, hard to explain. At full throttle runs, getting off the throttle give a sharp tone woosh. Does that mean I have too much spring pressure?

FYI, I removed the bell horn from the BOV to quite it down, it's way too ricey with the horn on it.

I was running 18lbs at the time and it would open and shut pretty efficiently after I cut the spring and adjusted it out most of the way.
