I am looking into a 91 fwd NA 4g63 for dirt ass cheap, it needs a head and timing belt......
about how much for a 1g head and timing belt? --------------------

I assume that the reason you need a head and timing belt is that the engine jumped time. Make sure you check the pistons for any gouges or scratches. If the scratches are significant enough, you may need pistons as well.
Make sure while doing this job you replace the tensioner as well. I would reccomend some ARP head studs and the Mitsu 4-layer headgasket if you're staying mostly stock. -------------------- "I hear he tunes the space shuttle also...and that thing is fast"
