I've got a MBC, a/f gauge, and a boost gauge all waiting to be installed as soon as I get a pod.
My question is what do you guys think I should get next. I was thinking of starting on the exhaust. I only have about $300 right now so I can't get too extavigant. Also I have an ACT 2600 pp that I got from Darryl that I couldn't use (guy said the pins wouldn't line up right?) that I would be willing to part with in trade also if anybody has anything that I might need or be able to use. Tell me what you guys think. TIA -------------------- Brian J

QUOTE (POS AWD @ Jul 8 2003, 12:27 PM) I think the guy that told you that clutch wouldn't fit was somking something. All the DSM's (1st gen, 2nd gen, 6 bolt, 7 bolt, whatever) use the same clutch. I've heard a lot of funny crap like that lately. Really? Wow, I was told a few months ago by someone 'in the know', that a clutch I had ordered for the FWD Laser would have to be sent back when I switched to the AWD chassis as it wouldn't mate up. Figured he was right and that since the flywheels were different they wouldn't mate up. Sure about that Rob? I'd just taken it as fact after I was told. (I tried a quick search and found nothing on DSMtalk but did notice that turbotrix and roadrace don't specify different part numbers for them.) Hmmm -------------------- |
