I'm finally about to enter the 1990's...

I'm finally upgrading my internet service to Cable internet! Decided to get the whole family the gift of Mediacom bundle cable/internet/phone service. Should be hooked up on Monday. biggthumpup.gif

Needles to say I will be watching all the internet movies that I'v been missing on dial-up. Evan and I have gotten a cheap upgraded computer together to handle the duties with a 2Gb processor with a 400Mb bus speed and a 128 meg video card. Plays movies real well on a large monitor that Spy graciously donated.

I may be a bit more movie biased on DSMC in the near future. wink.gif

the only problem is you internet will only be fast for a month or two then you will be cussing it like it was dial up.I have had cable for a few years and I wish it were faster. wacko.gif

Could be a problem with your computer. The more programs running in the background using up your RAM the slower your internet pages will load.

I've had mine since June and it still loads about as fast as I can snap my fingers on most pages.
