I am thinking about buying a 95 auto Talon.
Problem is it wount move on it's own. When I put it in gear you can feel it engage into gear. But when you give it the gas it wount pull itself. It feels like something is spinning in the rear of the car. I was thinking he might have snapped a half shaft off in the rear pumpkin. Do any of you have any ideas? I was also wondering are the 1G and 2G auto trans the same? Thanks guys!

YES BUD! LOL, they're different beasts. Someone of greater knowledge than I had told me that they thought the Auto and manual rear diff ratios were the same for the 2G's, I knew they were different for 1G's. Evidently that's where I got the misinformation.
The gear ratio sets may be the same but the differential housing, axles, and the way it bolts to the subframe are all different. You'd be better off just replacing the entire housing rather than trying to replace just the gearset as those can be quite tricky to get setup correctly. -------------------- "I hear he tunes the space shuttle also...and that thing is fast"
