I will be piloting my ol lady's automatic Cavalier.... I figure that it will definately be slow but consistant. -------------------- You CAN sleep in your car, but your CAN NOT race your house!!!

gsxracer80, sorry man looks like a fragged my motor (no compression in one cyl) last friday and won't be running this weekend.
As far as you questions. Drive around the water box, smoking the tires on radials will do nothing. Do a small dry hop to dry/clean them off when you get on the other side of the water box and then go stage. When you stage, light one bulb and then wait for the other guy to stage and light his first bulb. Or vice-versa. Don't go in and "double-bulb" before the other guy light his first light...I hate that, I find it bad racing etiquette. You do want to stage on the converter. Just give it enough gas to get on the converter and not too much that it starts pulling you through the beam. I go when I see the last amber light up, but every car will react a little different. You'll just have to practice. -------------------- 92 Eagle Talon TSI AWD "The Black Golfball" How fast can a 14B go???
