QUOTE Tuned on 92 octane she made: 362.7whp@5849rpms and 385.8ftlbs @ 3793rpms. (peak) Spy, I was checking out my new Jeg's Catalog and found that your numbers are pretty good when compared to GM's ZZ383 crate engine! Here's the specs: 9.6:1 Compression ratio w/ Hypereutectic flat top pistons 'Fast Burn' 62cc Aluminum Heads Hydraulic roller cam (Lift: .509" / .528" and Duration @ .050: 222/230 degrees) 425Crank HP @ 5400RPM (352.8HP at the tire assuming 17% drive train loss) 460ft/lbs at the crank @ 4500RPM (381.8 at the tire assuming 17% drive train loss) Using 17% vs. 10% makes a whole lot of difference and I could be wrong using 17. I always heard 17% was the average figure to use for two wheel drive vehicles. If this is true, then your engine set-up is doing better than GM's claims for their own 383. Plus I'm sure that you can pick up more top end with a different cam. -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo
