Alright, I've got the bug to upgrade my clutch and flywheel. I was thinking about going with the ACT XAct chromoly flywheel and a Star (is it called Spec now?) Stage 2 kevlar clutch. I don't really want an ACT 2600 as I'm going to be driving this thing all the time, and the 2100 doesn't really seem to be worth the money compared the almost new stock style clutch I've got. Is the Stage 2 smooth enough for a daily driver?

Also, I'm planning on using a stock Mitsu headgasket, Clevlite bearings, and whatever for misc gaskets. I'm kind of undecided on rings, whether to go for Sealed Power, Mitsu, or Beck/Arnley. I'm also undecided on the timing belt, instinct says go Mitsu, but Autozone carries a Goodyear Gatorback version of the timing belt, which should be pretty good. Way too many options here unsure.gif

That ACT flywheel seems like a good deal. Only thing I don't like about it, is it doesn't have a replaceable surface like the Fidanza's, but I guess you don't really need to resurface the flywheel often anyway.

I've heard a lot of people with complaints about any timing belt besides a Mitsu breaking well before 60,000 miles. I'm pretty sure I've heard the Goodyear belt mentioned specifically. I'd stick with a Mitsu timing belt. I've also heard bad things on dsmtalk about Clevite bearings in our engines, but that subject is up for debate. I went with Mitsu rings, but didn't research anything else.
