Ok, I've been thinking about this thread for a while. I've been tempted to type a sentence or two to bring back some memories. Instead, I think it only makes sense to use the internet to it's fullest capability and paste old posts from years gone by. So here is the beginning:

Well, I built and installed a new MBC on the Slo Pony FWD with a fresh
14b. After tightening some hose clamps and remounting the radiator
overflow, we got the boost set right about at 15psi. I'm not used to
the FWD's so Josh (Slo Pony) and I had a pretty good time ripping the
tires off in first and barking them hard in second. This thing hauls
A$$ for very little dollar!

While out setting things up we found four baby raccoons about to get
run over. We've been hearing stories of Dan's big heart and animal
saving stories lately, so we had to live up to his ideals. wink.gif We ended
up getting three of the growling little things into the rear hatch with
a floor mat. We couldn't find the fourth, so we headed back to the
garage. Dan arrived and we got one coon out no problem, but...

The other two found their way into the side of the car through an open
interior panel! After un-buttoning some panels and removing the back
seat...Dan was able to pull them out! It was pretty crazy, but made
for an interesting evening.

We topped it off with a comparison between the FWD and Dan's VR4. With
a nice easy 3000RPM launch in the FWD we fell behind right at the line
as you would expect. However the power comes on hard about half way
through first where we got within about a car an a half of Dan's front
bumper where we staid until he hit the brakes! I was very impressed
because that means this little pup runs about mid 14's with nothing but
free mods and an MBC...

This thing still idles like crap though. I'm gonna check for more
vacuum leaks and maybe grounding problems Saturday. Does anyone have
any other ideas? It seemed that every once in a while when the hood is
shut all the lights flicker and the engine will stumble more. So
that's why I'm wondering about a ground.
