Origins: liked it, sure.

Star Trek: liked it, yep, but have some issues with it being a first-gen fan who just purchased the entire first season's episodes on Blu-ray! *Laugh*

I won't drop any spoilers, but my biggest fear about that movie did come true: the shaky camera and too-close-up action film-making style. I really don't like it. *Shrugs* I'll keep my other issues with it to myself for now for those who've not seen it yet. It's certainly a good movie, entertaining, etc.!

Terminator? That one scares me a bit, too. I'm sure it has the above filming style. My wife and I both are fans of all three of these "worlds" these movies represent. That makes going to the movies all the more fun (that, and the fact she's a big NFL fan are why I decided to keep her *Laugh*). Anyway, the lead character's bothersome because he's the current action-movie hero and we're afraid it won't do the storyline justice. We're not basing it on anything. Just concerned.

When the Sarah Connor Chronicles came out on TV we were worried. But we watch it religiously and enjoy it. As any series, it has some mechanisms in it that are frustrating meant to keep storyline going, keep the audience coming back, etc. But it has some insights into the Terminator "mythos" and isn't too badly done at all.

OK, enough ramble... Perhaps the most interesting thing is that we intentionally get the movie channels so we don't have to get out to movies. Yet, we're going to have gone to see all three of these in the theatre this summer. That's a first!
