Well I finally got off of my ass and got the TSi back together but now I seem to have no 5th or reverse. I'm assuming that this has to do with the shift linkage somewhere, but I've looked it over about 1000 times and I cant figure it out. I just installed an ACT 2600# pressure plate and an ACT full face disc. Also, when the car is in gear it moves around a ton and it used to be nice and tight before this project. Any suggestions? Is it my linkage or did I screw the tranny up somehow? I havnt driven the car yet, or let the clutch engage totally as its in the garage and I havnt pushed it out to take it for a drive, but after I do I will post if there are any changes. Thanks guys!

Pulling the shifter is easy. Unattach the cables (clips and pins), unscrew the 4 bolts that hold it down and you're done. The linkage is pretty easy to replace as well. One nut holds it to the floor behind the ECU. Two bolts hold it to the fire-wall. Then disconnect it from the transmission and pull it through.
