My clutch is gone completely. Does anyone have a good used one sitting around that they would part with. I would like to put it in myself because I cant afford the 725.00 that the shop wants. Only 1 small problem, I have never replaced a clutch in any vehicle so I dont have a clue what in the hell I would be doing. So if anyone would be willing to help I would appreciate it.

you can get a stocker from the dealer from around 200. At least from Tallahassee anyway.
As for installing it. It can be a head ach. However, it can be done with two days to spare. You will need the extra time in case you need to machine your flywheel. Hopefully your disk is only fried on the PP side and not the flywheel side too. If you have tools and time, you should be able to change your own clutch out. Unless you are damn good, you will need help lifting the tranny back up. Getting it down is easy. If fact, you can do that part yourself. |
