this FMIC looks pretty good and cheap! all his feedback on these are positive. just wanted to let anyone know that is doing a turbo and didn't wanna have to give an arm, leg, and LEFT NUT for an intercooler. Just trying to save DSMCENTRAL guys some cash. -------------------- famous last words.... " hey guys, WATCH THIS!!!!!" followed shortly thereafter by the the phrase, "and then the cops showed up"

Without having seen it in person or tested it I'd still have to say that I'm not too crazy about a lot of these e-bay intercooler companies. If you do a search on DSMtalk you'll see a lot of people pointing out that there are DSM specific companies making intercoolers and you tend to get what you pay for.
At a glance it looks like a classic intercooler for a boosted Honda. Nice and wide to fill out that front bumper area and be flashy. Not even sure a 30" wide intercooler will fit on our cars unless you want to lose the short routed piping. I'd always heard the Spearco 2-216 was as wide as you could go at 28" wide. Also looks pretty narrow at 2". Look at how those endtanks fit, they're a lot wider than the core. I'm all for bargain hunting and the do-it-yourself approach but more and more lately I'm seeing the value in buying quality parts. If you bought it though, I hope I'm wrong and please let us know how it works out. -------------------- |
