my car just runs outta energy at around 45+mph. it tries real hard, but it doesn't go anywhere. do we have any experts with this matter?

Maybe you and I should have a car day. My talon is having bogging ,timming pulling problems. It's been a problem for about 3 weeks or so. It seems to be getting worse and I really need to address the problem. For both of us, it is probably just the knock sensor worn. However, it could be fuel delivery of some sort too. I know the compression on my engine is great. I just tested it. So, it is a sensor or fuel problem for me.
Who has that logger again? I know I need to order a logger, but something always comes up 
Q: I've heard this question latly and I think the answer is no, but I'm not fully sure. Can a boost leak cause knock? If anything the car would just run extra rich from the missing intake air right? I can't think of anything that would cause knock from a boost or intake leak. I would think power would only be lost from the missing pressure. Any thoughts? William |
