I've tried to look up some of this on DSMtalk's FAQ's but it seems a little over my head.
If I get a 3 in. turbo-back exhaust custom bent for me, do i need to buy an o2 eliminator also? What exactly is an o2 elimator? Here's probably the dumbest part of the question: if what I'm doing is eliminating the oxygen sensor why is it so darn expensive? |

you don't need an 02 eliminator, you can just use your stock 02 housing or even have it ported for better flow.
An 02 elim. is a bit of a misnomer, it actually replaces the stock, cast 02 housing with a tubular peice that flows better and never eliminates the need for an 02 sensor, it usually just changes the mounting location. take a look at my website for pics of my 02 elim. http://www.geocities.com/krisj144/very144.htm |
