im going out on a limb here, but im looking to sell or preferably trade my '95 TSi awd for any year gsx or awd TSi. i bought the car on the spur of the moment when i wrecked my mx6 and in the 2 and a half weeks ive had it ive spent over $1000 on fixing it up. im out of money and time and patience and am looking for a nice first gen turbo awd in good condition. the car has 142k and is black and has the oem cd/cassette player, moonroof, power everything, grey leather interior. it has a lot of brand new parts on it too. first and foremost it has a new stock turbo and tranny with less than 10k on them. it has brand new oem style Monroe struts and oem springs, brand new K&N drop in filter, brand new platinum plugs with new oem wires. it has 4 brand new cooper cobra tires with less than 500 miles on them and as of the 12th, will have a new alternator belt. it is also slightly modded. it has a beautiful VIS carbon fiber hood, the k&n filter, some type of boost controller and runs constant 11 psi, VDO boost gauge and a not-hooked-up-correctly A/F gauge (got it that way), a Clutch Masters stage 3 racing clutch, and finally it has a welded Ractive Stainless muffler, not system, just muffler. prolly not that great for performance, but looks and sounds nice. also within the next two days i will have a set of brand new Tanabe GF210 springs for it. the motor is very strong. this would be a great project car for some of you hardcore dsm'ers. it runs great (as soon as i get this belt on), im located in Groveland, Il on springfield rd. i can get some pics for you but im not sure how to get them on the internet, but i have a nice digital camera and i think i know how to email them. um the only things i know it needs is a grease job, an alignment, the abs fixed and maybe eventually some rear end work.

the kid i bought it from had it on these "matrx coilovers" that were so old you could compress them with your hands. so the struts were blown all the way too. i got the oem springs and new struts back on and it rides great now 'cept its one inch higher on the right than the left. which leads me to believe that one or more of the springs is shot, that why i ordered the Tanabes, which should be here today. the guy had the car so low that the tires apparently cut the abs wires in the front wheel well. i hate abs anyway but still he's and idiot for doin that to the suspension. um other than that i think everything is fine. like i said, the motor and tranny are very strong and its actually a pretty nice car, i just have ran out of money and have no time to fix its problems. its a love-hate thing, i love the car, but hate all the money ive spent on it. being a poor college student, it prolly took me 2 months to make all that money and two weeks to spend it. anyway, if you have any more questions just call me (2649758) or email me. thanks a lot
