I recently aquired a 1 gen turbo it doesnt run. im not to sure if its eletrical or engine problem im not familiar with DSM's i used to have a honda but made the switch over.. heres what i have so far spark pluge wire number one is burned off from the spark plug end. Nat was dead when i attached new one i heard noise inside the back panel behind the driver twords the floor. Also under the hood i heard a cicking electrical noise in between the bat and the air intake. other than that i am looking for any info thanks

There is a relay in the place where I'm talking about. It just may not be the MPI relay. I know where the MPI fuse is. I pull that sucker every time I check my compression or prime my fuel pump.

I'm not positive, but I think the relay you are talking about is for the fuel pump, because I can still hear it click on and off even when the MPI fuse is pulled. Course with all those pins on that relay there may be more than one function for it. If I can remember, I'll take a look in the Haynes manual when I get home from work. You may be right.
