what is the lowest dropped 1G eclipse anyone here has had that is still streetable and racable???

I am purchasing springs for my car and I have had people tell me that I can 2.5" without problems but I have never lowered a car that far before. blink.gif

not that I dont believe the people I have asked, I am just taking a general consensus. cool.gif

My Talon is lowered about 1.75". I'm using stock length Koni's currently, but have been told if I go any lower The shock/struts need to be customized to work in the lower position without bottoming out. Plus I believe that you will be on your bumps stops during normal driving unless you cut them down.

Camber and tow-in adjustment will be required with any significant amount of drop. I've lived with funky camber for a long time though.
