i believe i've met wendell in person and he didn't seem that bad. at least he's passionate about the scene, and sometimes that's all anyone can afford. i can actually understand where the guy's comin' from...

i'm not flamin' you with this, but i asked my eight year old brother who would win between a stock civic (don't even know if it's vtec) and a decently modified eclipse. hands down, the second grader told me the dsm would walk the dog... with ease. also, i've never seen you drive, but you can have a ten second car with a thirteen second driver. just something to think about. two other things to think about: 1) you're advertising a civic on a dsm forum (which is generally taboo, but somehow the guys like you enough to not flame you right off the site, and 2) if you've not had a lot of experience with message boards, common practice is to not provoke anyone or it has a habit of turning nasty and flames shooting out. so you can understand everyone's skepticism when you issued the challenge. you may have meant it as a joke or as fun, but remember, this is only text. we can't hear your inflections or delivery, so we're free to take it as we please.

anyways, i've had my piece. probably going to be flamed myself. i'm no one's babysitter. just tryin' to keep the peace.
