Hey Kris (or anyone who knows): Does the Magnus manifold have anything but the T/B attached to it? I tried to look at your pics, but my comp said no. I have some extra materials and a MIG welder, and way too much time on my hands; So I think I am going to fab up a manifold. Last ?... What size are the runners on the Mag manifold? And what size do you think could improve on that... The plans have already been drawn, and they look pretty good. I just don't know what diameter I should weld the primaries out of. Any input is welcome, so if anyone has any ideas, shout out. I am probably going to be trying a couple of designs (sheet metal box, All-tube equal length collector style, etc.) The all-tube design is TIGHT!!! biggrin.gif

Too bad I don't know how to use it, the UofI just got a machine that can 'print' in ABS plastic. You just feed the machine a cad drawing of each part, and out it comes in a few hours. We use it for building the entire intake manifold on the FSAE car.

That wouldn't work so well in a turbo application, now that I'm thinking about it. We haven't found a good way of bonding individual parts together yet though, and boost would compound the problem. Heated intake air could also be a problem.

On the other hand, I can (barely) tig weld aluminum, so if you want to make the whole thing and hand it off to me, I'd be willing to have a go at welding it.
