I'm actually really excited about this project. Look at the shot from further back that shows the whole hood. Finished, sanded and painted I think it will look good. More importantly, block off that K&N from the rest of the engine bay and we're talking ice cold air and a ram effect.
I say we break out the temp probes and take some readings with the scooped hood vs. stock at a few speeds and see what it comes up with. I'd run one.
