i was wondering how hard it would be to do a swap of this nature. i love garners gst but i hate the traction. so why not try that motor in the back of an mr2?

Well, the 3sgte is much less common than the 5sfe so Dan's probably thinking about picking up one of those ill equipped cars and upgrading the engine.

However, these guys are right, If it's a fast MR2 that you want, go with the 3sgte. If it's traction and a 4g63, then you're better off with a awd dsm.

The thing to remember is that while it can be done, it is a tremendous amount of work for something that can easily be duplicated by choosing to stay on the well traveled upgrade path for either car.
