Yep, another one is here.
Parting out this '92 Laser AWD. Black Exterior Grey interior Tranny, T-case, turbo, etc (most drivetrain parts) already gone or spoken for. Minor parts and trim pieces will be free with donation to the DSMcentral parts kitty (coffee can). I've had a few requests so far so I thought it might be easier for everyone to just start a thread. -------------------- |

Motor- Bottom end is off of a fresh (just a few hundred miles) stock rebuild. Threw a timing belt and scored a couple of the pistons. I wouldn't trust the rebuild quality personally from what I was told of it. Current plans are to go through it more thoroughly, replace the scored pistons with a couple spares I have on hand on make a reconditioned unit.
You are welcome to purchase as is with that all in mind though. Valves on the head, although straight appearing, are most likely warped enough to have caused zero compression (although when I removed the valve cover I did notice two of the rocker arms loose in there as well).
