I had to replace the stator and rotor on the Harley to get it back on the road this year. While I had it torn down I decided to change the color and handle bars. I never did like the Yellow much but I didn't want to give anyone the $300-$800 they were asking to paint a fuel tank and two fenders. So I bought the cheapest paint color you can buy that also happens to be bad ass black. I sprayed it on with my trusty paint gun that I used to re-color my old 65 Chevy truck. I also didn't like the stock 'Buck-horn' handlebars the baike had. A lower, wider set was readily avaialble. So I installed them at the same time.
Check out the before and after pics. I'm very pleased how the black turned out and how it seems to tie the bike together better for a much smoother look. I am ready to ride! Before: ![]() After: ![]() ![]() -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo
