We have once again reserved the Cordova raceway for our Sport Compact Drag Challenge! There are a few changes this year. First of all the entry fee will now only be $40 per person. While we will still welcome any vehicle to run only sport compact cars will be elidgable for the trophy wins since this is the Sport Compact Drag Challenge. The tropphy awards day will be set two weeks after the race for a more timely turn around.

We will follow with a computerized sign up sheet shortly.

Sunday May 30th

I'll be there pissing in their gas tanks along with the track employees. I've got a weak bladder so anybody that needs some extra kick in their tank can let me know to top them off as well.....and I won't even charge 7 F*^%ING DOLLARS A GALLON!

Oh yeah, word to the wise, check your spark gaps too.

Here's my new incentive to get the car done! Now if I can only get it done and still have enough time to practice my shifting. It's been over a year since I've driven a manual transmission. I'm there...if I can get somebody to trailer my car there lol. Not having a liscense sucks!

Here is a quote from a local Mustang 5.0 owner that has run a best of 13.8et @ 115mph on the bottle. Hahaha... 'We decided to not let the mustangs and camaros compete in the trophy contest because we know they would take them all home. cause they are to fast for us to keep up with.'

HEY! I just realized that's my birthday as well! I didn't really pay much attention as to the date when I first saw it for some reason, but that will make for double the fun. Who's up for throwin back a couple of brews after the trip down the strip to celebrate?
