ok im trying to set my avatar and it keeps saying "sorry, an error has occured..."
what could i be doin wrong? i exported the pic from my camera and put its name in the little box then clicked üpdate avatar" then it just says error.

I had the same problem and had to resize my pic...then it worked fine

resize it, and if that doesn't work, right click on the picture and select properties. look to see if your file size is beneath the 20kb qouta.

ok i resized the pic and now it says i cant use that type of file. it is saved as a jpg right now

Yeah, it seems to be somewhat picky... the sight where i got mine... It accepted the one i have but didn't accept another one from the same sight, same file extension, same size, and same kb size.

By resize, do you mean hieght and width or the file size?
When the picture was uploaded from your computer was its file extension something other than the .jpg that it is now?

I make no promises but i have a couple of ideas i would try for you if you want to email me the pic, i can play with it in adobe and see if something doesn't get it to work.
