There has been a lot of discussion in the past about what the 14b DSM records are. Well these threads should clear that up. Page 2 (where the link takes you) is current on the 1st thread. Phil Beers (Phil1320) clears things up on who holds the 14b title w/o nitrous 4 posts down. Apparenty he never actually got into the 11's himself.

Hmmm that's interesting. Does anyone know where the DSM drag times are posted anymore?

According to that site, the second fastest T-25 time is 14.031, i ran 14.066 on a half tank of gas and it was my first time ever at the track, am i missing something, or is my car fast? lol

Hell if i knew that when i was there i would have kept running until i had that record!

Good times on your end but i think you missed the dozen or so guys in the 13's there on the T25. Including a 13.33 run on the T25. ohmy.gif

Thanks Katie, but I only have the 15th fastest 14b record currently not including the one guy using nitrous. The wicked thing is that there are two FWD 14b's lower than me including one that is running like a 12.169!!! That's freakin awesome!

Marcus, not to overly fluff your ego, but having the 15th time on there is impressive. The FWDs were more than likely gutted and on slicks anyway. Think of the # of DSM people that post on that board.

Well that's 15th fastest of the 14b cars. But in general I'm 256 out of all DSM's that have posted their times on that site. Last year I was like 6th or 7th fastest posted with a 14b.

Keep in mind a lot of people like Nate and Kris have never posted a time on that list.

Something that is incredible is seeing Darryl Hudson as #5 on that site out of ALL AWD DSM's!!! That's a feat...

According to Beers' post on DSMtalk there are actually two fwd 14b guys in the 11's. They aren't listed on dsmtimes.org. What really impresses me is the trap speed of Rob Harfman's fwd. 119 mph!!

11.84@113 is the all time 14b record held by Leon Reitman, I held it at 12.02@112 for a while, I am now at 12.009@113.32.  Between Leon and I are Rob Harfman in a FWD Laser at 11.93@119, and Team Goodwill in a FWD Laser at 11.95@117.  I think it's safe to say Rob has the all-time 14b record MPH at 119.

Anyway, just thought I'd enlighten you guys.....

That is flat out FLYIN'!!! I think it would be VERY interesting to see what those two FWD guys use to hook these cars up at the track. I'm sure we all could learn from that. Funny thing is that if those were AWD cars with the same power to weight ratio, they would be running in the 11.5 - 11.6 range with a 119MPH trap speed. tongue.gif
