Well, negotiations are all done with State Farm. At one point they were trying to blame me for 20% of the accident, which made me very unhappy, but as soon as they saw pictures of the damage to my car they decided not to push that issue. The damage totalled the car. They valued it at a little over $3700, which is pretty much dead on with book value, especially considering the hail damage to the roof and the scratches on the rear bumper cover and spoiler. Since I'm keeping the car, I get the car and $3375, which isn't bad, considering I paid $2100 for it and have about $1400 in drivetrain related items since then, which I get to keep.
I can either try and fix the car myself, or look for another one and part this one out. I'm leaning towards trying to fix it first. If I totally screw things up trying to fix it, then I'll part it out. -------------------- Eric Wort

Get a rubber mallot and beat it out... get it fairly good then just use bondo to cover the rest of the little bitty dents or creases and paint over it... fast cheap and easy... kinda like me lol!
