Allright, so, as some of you may remember I spent some time chillin at the arby's the last time my Battery was eaten by my car. At the time I thought it most likely the crappy battery that came in one of the parts cars. I went ahead and swapped to a new battery. Every thing great for a while. So last night I take off in my car and end up out in BF'n egypt... Another battery eaten. I get a jump from another nice chevy owner, car makes it about a mile before the battery dies again. At this point in time it is my assumption that most likely there is something amiss with the circuit between the altenator and the battery. (the battery/car dies while driving).
I'm going to take the altenator in to autozone and have it checked, but it's my guess that two different altenators and two different batteries can't be crapped. It would be a hell of a coincidence. I'm also going to be getting a circuit tester to try test the circuit. I Just figured in the mean time I'd post and ask if just maybe somebody else has had a battery eating dsm, and wanted to point me to where they had their problems. On a similiar note, While yanking the dash to remove excess weight, The driver side window no longer goes up. I followed the wires, and made sure everything was plugged in and all grounds were grounded. I'm going to test the circuit on this as well, but once again, if anyone has had problems similiar to this and would be willing to try and point me in the right direction.... appreciate the help in advance. Xian and Sally the Battery eater. -------------------- game over.
