Hey, after a good hard pull I'm getting this burnt rubber smell. It could be my tires or leaking oil on the exhaust, but I'm not sure. So does it smell like tires burning?

I haven't noticed any slipping, but on my last car when all it did was slip I never noticed any smell. Maybe it was past that point. Should you drive 20000 miles on a burnt clutch

When my clutch was slipping it smelt like overworked brakes. Kinda like you smell from a semi going down a steep grade. It was also pretty easy to see because the rpm's went up but the car didn't go any faster.

alrighty, just to make sure I'll do a good 4th gear pull and log RPM/speed. I think I'm ok for the clutch though.
