The guy TurboMeTroy talked about in the Red Eclipse is Hector Cabrera. He ran 9.469@151.09. He has not run 8's. Brent Rau ran 7.85@174 in his Pro RWD Eclipse

Our first pass was 10.491 no nitrous and the rest were 9's on the nitrous.

Details
9.544@149.30 1/4 mile
6.239@120.43 1/8 mile
1.528 60'

The car feels extremely fast except for the 60'. Our 60' last year were faster at 1.44. The cars spins all four all the way to 9000 rpm's in first gear. I hit 2nd, clinch the butt muscles and hold on. The car squirms in 2nd and 3rd and finally tracks straight in 4th. I knew the speed was up when I crossed the line around 8000 rpms in 4th. I think we still have about 6 or 7 more psi we can run safely as well as more nitrous. We are currently running a 100 hp shot.

Wow that's pretty crazy Darryl. I'm suprised that your race car was built from a model with a sun roof and that you had it open too. hmmm. Looks like your plenty rich up at the top end as well. biggthumpup.gif

Wow that is black smoke out the tailpipe. Might have something to do with the plug that went bad on that run.

Haha! It looks like the car is smiling cuz it knows its fast.

Kinda reminds me of Marcus's talking car. You still have that stored somewhere, buddy. That was hilarious. biggrin.gif
