yesterday morning was a glorious one indeed. for it was the day that i picked up my pristine '91 Nissan 300zx. what it is lacking in the form of two turbos, it makes up in every other aspect. previously owned by a 60+ guy who only drove it on weekends, it has never seen rain or snow. when i say the car is immaculate, that is an understatement. pearl black mettalic, T tops, 5 speed, all options, 65k. the car is perfect. and apparently the old guy still had the tuner bug left in him because it has a Nismo clutch and flywheel, Nismo short shift kit, Nismo f/r stb's, K&N Dual intake system, and custom dual catback exhaust w/ turbo mufflers. it sounds VERY deep and menacing. the interior has custom white leather accents to go with the factory grey leather (kinda weird lookin but ok), custom mounted pioneer speakers, and a nice sony indash head unit. when i think about it i get goosebumps. i realize its not a dsm and relatively speakin is not that fast, but it is amazing to drive. i love it.

which leads me to my next point. i now have a '90 nissan 240sx hatchback 5 speed for sale. 101k, kyb agx struts, eibach springs, front stb, "custom" intake. popup sunroof, power windows. great dd or project car. needs some exterior work and there is a hole in the drivers seat. clutch is new, tires and brakes are good, $1500 takes it. for any more info let me know.

well the timing belts on these cars are a big issue after 60k, so i called the guy about it and he said he didnt know if it had been changed, but he would get ahold of the original owner to find out. also he told me the motor has had the heads ported and polished and the crank lightened and balanced by some Z place here in illinois. he said he has the reciepts for all that work too.

so in the event that i need to get a new timing belt, where would be a good, CHEAP place to go? i know the timing belts on dsms are a big issue too, so i imagine some of you guys may know a good place. thanks.
