I can't believe there's not already a thread for this here!

13.438 @ 109 the one time my n2o worked through all the gears. Was hoping to do better, and certainly could have w/ a better 60 foot, but I found out I have some bugs to work out.

LOL!

I tried to get Kara to run her automatic 3G Eclipse GS to get the slowest car trophy, but she wouldn't.

Who took the trophies?

We hand the trophies out in two weeks. I'm working on a follow-up post for both DSMCentral and Cii right now.

13.11 @ 111, she either spun out of the hole or bogged out of the hole. Never got a chance to take the exhaust off though. Last time that was worth .2 and 3mph. Also starting to wonder if maybe my fuel pump is getting a little old.

Looking at your sig you picked up 2mph over your 12.3 run there but lost 8 tenths. Wow!

Yeah, I don't think it liked the hot weather for spooling up on the line, I could only get 5psi or so off the line. I might have a boost leak somewhere in the system also, as I couldn't get any more than 24psi no matter how I adjusted it, and it was dropping to 18psi every time it shifted into third. Never had any knock problems except for a few times when I got knock from the downpipe banging around at the launch.

A pathetic 14.4 with an incredible amount of phantom knock in 1st gear. It was pulling the timing BAD and I kept getting some sort of stutter in 3rd gear mid RPM's and in all gears at anything above 5500 RPM's. I'm pretty sure it was my fuel pressure bouncing all over the place. It was a BLAST though! I only slightly bogged once, didnt miss any gears and had semi-decent launches without breaking any trannies. Thanks Marcus! Can't wait till next time!

12.02@117 knocking all the way. A new best for me, but the 11's still elude me. Traps say she should be in the 11's, but shifting into 2nd and 4th leaves much to be desired. Best 60' was 1.7 on that very run, wouldn't mind bringing that down another tenth or two either.

Gonna be doing some more tuning this week, including switching back to the projected tip plugs. She runs fine on the non-projected tip plugs, but I've never seen this much knock before on my car on 100 octane or higher even at 26 psi. 20 counts... I'm used seeing a big fat goose egg under that category. I attribute it to the plugs, but we'll see one way or another.

Good fun, overall though. I made more passes that day than I ever have. About 20 or so. Hope that last pass wasn't too hard for the crew to clean up. (Oil filter came loose!) ph34r.gif

14.019 @ 103.7.

Farm and Fleet "S" rated Spectrum XLR tires, 205-55-16

Stock 14b on stock manifold, factory side mount i/c

Clutch slipped at the top of second in every run, and the whole way through third.

All in all, I'm happy knowing that with ANY other tire I'm in the 13's with a FWD.

60' on my best run was 2.42.

I had a blast, and am looking forward to the Slo-Pny drag day in a couple months. A Spec stage 2 and some full on slicks, that oughta do it. Maybe a HUGE turbo and a new fuel system, as well. Anyone on here ever had a FWD in the 12's?
