Well it's 2am and we just got back from dynoing the GSX @ Axis Power.
Big Big thanks to Ron for sticking around after wrenching on an Evo all day...Big :thumbup To Ron . Also another Huge :thumbup To Chad @ FC Customs.
The AF was not really that far off. A great job to Kate for her excellant tuning and diagnostics..Now you know why I married her..Good looking and can run a datalogger and tune on an S-AFC :headbang
Looks like we need either a heavier spring on the wastegate or a different BOV.....F it we are gonna replace um both biggrin.gif We could only run just at 17 pounds without a fluctuation in boost ..Went from a first pull of 291hp to a 298 with 1 pound of boost and some fine tuning to the final result of a 317.4 AWHP @ 17 pounds with 300 foot pounds of torque. When we get the heavier spring and the better BOV we will be good to go to gain about 40+ hp with a few more pounds of boost. After that we will have to put some BIG octane fuel in and mess with the timing but that aint no thang...Until then we will be ok with what we have.

thanks for the links, the pics look pretty cool, and the link to there site looks pretty clean and the prices don't look too unreasonable. I am gonna have to check it out.

maybe DSMCentral needs to go down and have a Dyno day.

(317.4 AWHP @ 17 pounds) why only a "few" more pounds than 17? Is your current setup limiting you from running more? From what I hear even with that new spring in the WG you should be able to run closer to 30 on a T3/T4 especially the 57 trim. Just curious

The few more comment was just for safe posting on another board..I plan on pushing it pretty good and if at all possible I'd like to see what 2 bar feels like.

I changed the oil feed back to the head and it seemed to help things..Now I need to score a heavier spring so I can run constant boost.

I think he was getting too much oil pressure for that particular turbo and forcing oil past the seals. Your 16g should be fine, Spy. I assume you meant filter housing.
