i finally got the intake on the Z yesterday. it consists of a really nice HKS mas adapter and HUGE K&N filter. i went to autozone to get a filter with a 4" inlet and the only one that would fit was a huge 13" long, 6" round beast. after assembling everything, the filter tucks just perfect in the nose of the car right down behind the bottom grill. CAI for half the price!!! i tend not to drive this car too hard, but tonight decided to see what it was like. i let 'er rip and got the tires to bark in third!!!!. with the new intake, im not sure on any significant power increases (although im sure there are some), but at 5k rpms this thing just pulls like crazy. anyway, just thoguht id share my most recent tuning experience that turned out for the best.
